Dr. Md. Faruk Shah is an Associate Professor of the Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has 10 years of teaching experiences at university level and eight years as a freelance researcher in the field of health, education, ethnic communities, and social development. He has a sound educational background that includes Postgraduate-level education with a PhD in Medical Anthropology under the School of Social Sciences from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Moreover, he has completed BSS (Honors) and MSS (one year) degree in Anthropology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. As an experienced facilitator of learning with a demonstrated ability of quality teaching in Social Science, he would like to utilize his knowledge, skills and experience in assisting students to achieve a high level of improvement at academic levels which will ultimately facilitate their overall development.
